Let It Ride Poker is a variant of five-card stud that features three player cards and two community cards, initially dealt face down. This game stands out due to the player having two opportunities to withdraw one-third of their initial wager. The first chance is after seeing their hand but before the first community card is revealed, while the second is after the first community card is shown but before the second one is revealed. The player can reduce their wager on either occasion, both, neither, or mix it up.

To ensure the initial bet can be divided by three, players must place their wager over three betting spots with identical chip values designated as symbols 1, 2, and $. The symbols represent the portions of the bet that can be withdrawn before each community card is revealed, with $ indicating the portion that can never be withdrawn.

Once bets are in place, the dealer deals a card to each player followed by the first face-down community card in a clockwise manner. Players then receive another card each, followed by the second community card, and finally one last card to each player. Players cannot reveal their cards until the deal concludes.

For a winning hand after the second community card is shown, any remaining wager is paid out based on a payout table, which varies slightly between casinos. The minimum winning hand in Let It Ride is typically a pair of 10s while anything below a pair of nines results in a loss and forfeiture of the remaining wager.
